Welcome to Bahia Ballenas BackPackers Hostel a new comfortable & funny hostel, a place to meet new people and make friends.

Bahia Ballenas Hostel is located in Puerto Piramides, Peninsula Valdes Reservation (World Heritage UNESCO), a 100 meters from the beach.
Our hostel offers dorms, breakfast, internet, free sheets and blankets. Free lockers with key in the dorms, 24hr reception, no lock-out, no curfew, tourist information desk; common room with board games, fully equipped kitchen; BBQ, books exchange and mountain bikes rental.
In Bahia Ballenas you can go whale-watching, take wildlife tour boat trips, snorkeling, scuba diving, trekking, mountain bike tours and experience many more activities.
Peninsula Valdes in Patagonia Argentina is a site of global significance for the conservation of marine mammals and birds. It is home to an important breeding population of the endangered Southern Right Whales as important breeding populations of southern elephant seals, penguins and southern sea lions. The Orcas in this area have developed an unique hunting strategy to adapt to local coastal conditions.

Location / Directions

We are on Avenida Ballenas the second house on the left as you enter to the town, only a 100 m from the beach.

From Puerto Madryn bus station:
Take the Mar y Valle regular bus to Puerto Piramides, every day around 9 am or ask for tours to Peninsula at Bottazzi Travel Agency (Office 31).

From Trelew or Madryn Airport:
Take a minibus to Puerto Madryn bus station. Once there ask at Bottazzi Travel Agency (Office 31) or take the Mar y Valle regular bus to Puerto Piramides (every day around 9 am).
