Overview

HI-Jasper is located half way up the Whistlers Mountain 7km from the Jasper town centre in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Jasper National Park.

Our traditional authentic 'Old Skool' hostel offers guests a choice of dorm rooms - CO-ED or Female.
This the style of hostel your parents remember.
You will find a comfortable dining room and lounge area with awesome views of the Whisters Mountain where the trail out the door takes you right to the mountain summit.

A fully-equipped cook-it-yourself kitchen is also provided.

In winter, ski and stay packages with Marmot Basin ski resort are offered. December - April

Attention international guests: To use hostels you should be a member of a national Youth Hostel Association recognized by the International Youth Hostel Federation.
Rates include all Tax.

If you are not a member, you are required to either
- pay non-member rate ($4 CDN more each night)
- purchase a Membership when you arrive at the hostel for $24 CDN (one year membership for international guests) or ($29 for a two year membership for Canadian guests) or
- purchase a membership from the nearest Youth Hostel Association Office before you start your journey

Location / Directions

HI-Jasper is located 7km from the town of Jasper.

By Car:
Drive 4 km south of Jasper on Hwy 93, turn right on Skytram Road and follow for 3 km. HI-Jasper is on the left hand side of the road.

Shuttle:
$5.00 each way (seasonal - approx. mid April to mid October)

Taxi:
Approximately $16.00
