One o Hanga Roa's most visited Moai is known as Ahu Te Pito Kura which is approximately 10 metres long making it the larges Moai. Hanga Roa's town centre is the place to be and it is here that you will find the majority of the restaurants, hostels and hotels.
The local beaches are known as Ovahe and Playa Anakena. Playa Anekena is of particular beauty with its sandy white beach, whereas Ovahe beach is better known for its cave formations.
