The National Museum should definitely not be missed which features an amazing display of architecture. The National Museum was originally built in 1823 and is the oldest museum in all of Colombia. Be sure to visit the suburb of La Candelaria which is a popular historic area. For shopping Unicentro is the place to be with a fine selection of trendy stores.
If you would like to see all of Bogota at once then visiting the city's tallest building should definitely be on your list of things to do. Torre Colpatria offers amazing views of the city and is truly worth visiting. Visiting Bogota would not be complete without visiting Catedral de Sal which can be found at Zipaquira.
