General Information about Naypyidaw

The capital of Myanmar which is known as Naypyidaw within the Kyatpyae Village and is often referred to as the Royal City. The original capital of Myanmar was Yangon but was replaced by Naypyidaw in 2006.

One of the main features of Naypyidaw are the city's statues of history's three most important Burmese Kings. You can get to Naypyidaw by train and plain with the train journey taking up to nine hours.
